Nobody ever won the Tour 6 times, let alone 6 times in a row. What's actually the deal on these acusations towards Lance for taking doping? Is that to be taken serious? Betcha that he will be the first one to pee for testing anyway BTW, Ullrich won the Swiss tour last week, he looks in topform, as well as 1 or 2 Spanish contenders. Then last day was a time trial, which he won, and ended 1 second in front of Jeger........ Armstrong won his first tour when EPO was absorbed copiously thru-out the cycling profession. I am rooting for hamilton, who really ran out of luck last year. I believe I closed last year's thread by saying I'd be rooting against Armstrong this year, which will be the theme this edition: Anyone but Lance. More of a TdeF specialist than the greatest cyclist ever, he will be attacked at all angles by every team to prevent an unprecedented sixth. My prediction for the winner? Invaluable seasoning from last year's strong showing and ready to move up to the top echelon, Iban Mayo will surge to the lead in his native Pyrenees and have the mettle to hold on in the Alps.
