whosyourdaddy
Anyone have any good luck with online stock brokers. Kim Eng, Tisco, Seimico etc. They all seem to be about the same price with regards to commision ( .21%) What about ease of usage, any recommendations? khunsanuk
Hi, No real idea. I use AG Edwards. Main reason for that is because the guy handling my account there is a close personal friend. Figured if I need to trust any stockbroker, might as well trust a friend. So far I've only lost money though, got in at the wrong time Sanuk!
BelgianBoy
KS, I find that using trust, friend and money in the same sentence is already a bad idea....... Remember that investing money is basically to be done with money that you can afford to loose, otherwise stay out. BB
iuytrede
A friend who is quite knowledgable about local stocks recommends Seamico (Personally, I don't use any local broker).
khunsanuk
Hi, Yes, I see your point, but this guy knows what he is doing (been in the business for 10+ years and handles ~$150M in accounts). And yes, the money I used for the stock market was money I could afford to lose. Sanuk!
Guest
Wouldn't Stick's mate the Mad Stock Broker be able to point you in the right direction?

Stickman
Yep, he would, and he is also a friend of Whosyourdaddy, but I think I agree with a previous poster who didn't like the idea of friends and investment money going together! If I was going to ask anyon for advice, I'd ask him, but woud likely do a deal through someone else, assuming I was playing the market, which I'm not. rickfarang
etrade seems as good at channeling money from my pocket to those of people smart enough to be selling while I am buying as any of the higher-priced brokers I've used the past. The execute trades quickly, settle, and post the results for viewing online promptly. My only complaint is about my own choice of stocks.
