Im sorry if I've offended anyone, I will be the first to tell you Asian gals rock!! no doubt that's why If I do ever remarry it will be with an asian gal.

I may be a bit egocentric but hey its my life and why not go for what I want and not what I'm given! I want fine poon tang, but I want a chick to look after me and not expect me to become some sort of vehicle for her to create some bullshit face for herself and the family(inlaws & siblings)

O.K. I understand its the culture and I guess thats what I am to expect in Thailand but is this the norm across all of asia? Or do other countries/cultures instill supporting their family(husband and children) as a priority.

Thai women tend to work at menial low paying jobs in a factory or shop girl when they locate to the west. or take up work as a prostitute as it comes naturally to them .

:doah: Boy, there is another generalistic load of crap! No wonder you guys have failed relationships if you think of all women that way!

Uneducated women (and men) the world over work in service industry or menial labor jobs. Some do not. I know of several Thai women making six figures in the States at respectable jobs and I know a boatload who work jobs that earn them US$10-12/hr (ya, menial labor). Far more in those two catagories than the number of Thai hookers I know in the US.

I will not even go near the "natural prostitutes" line! Dude, you have serious problems if you truly believe that. Maybe at least get out more than Soi Nana and/or Walking St. Oh, wait, maybe you shouldn't...with that attitude we will be reading about you in the paper after you get a 2x4 slapped up side your knuckle head!

Then maybe best you look elsewhere.

Here in the USA, there is an entire industry dedicated to sending money and "Pasalubong" (gifts) to the Phillipines, so it isn't just Thailand. If you seriously want a decent woman to look after you, and not be a burdon with a dead beat family, try a country that has some money...or else, be prepared to shell out big time, as you would with just about any family anywhere in the world.

You would have to agree that asian woman as a whole have a particular mystique and that Thai girls are flawed in so many ways a long term relationship(marriage) seems to be a great strain with these women... What about other women?

Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese etc etc, are they all the same? are Thai women in a league of their own due to religion/education/upbringing or culture?

Asian women don't have any damn mystique! They have smaller bodies and maybe tighter vaginas!! Throw in the exotic look, accented speech and different cultural views on human interaction; there ain't much difference compared to the the garden variety Western chick.

When u start thinking of Thai chicks as a "species" instead of a "genus" you will getyourself all twisted.

From my opinion the cross culture adds spice to a relationship. If you are the type that gets bored easily then a cross culture relationship would probably be helpful. If you are the impatient or easily annoyed type then stick to your own culture

I would think anything outside of Canada would be considered "spicy"!

<<This is simply the truth. To make a marriage work is hard enough. Throw in language and cultural differences and it is abundantly clear that the odds are not in your favour. Now throw in a BG and a punter, a huge age difference, and it is just like playing the lottery. Some people win, but most don't. >>

Sums it up, marriage isn;t easy and many factors make it harder than normal, but essentially no fdifferent - depends on YOUR attitude as well.

Are you marying or buying a women to fuck and clean the house for cheap?

Re: successful Thai women: Just curious since you made this statement...

Bankers/stock brokers (x2), lawyers (x3), real estate agent, casino executive, restaraunt owners (x4) and several doctors/surgeons. All met by wifey & I through various "expat clubs" for Asians in the US. A bunch (even more) of equally successful Thai men, too.

Various education backgrounds, but most educated in Western Unis (but not all) and have advanced degrees, as would anyone in those positions. Their nationalities have nothing to do with it. If you guys think there are not successful Thais all over the world, then you really need to get out more.
