A newbie guide request

Hi all,

After some deliberation I have finally booked my flights to Thailand. I am leaving in 1 1/2 weeks time.

I've been trawling through the forums trying to find as much information as possible. To be honest there is so much information and opinions on everything from bar girls to hotels are so varied that I am getting really confused.

Naturally I want my 14 days in Thailand to be absolutely fantastic. I am scared however of making the wrong decisions when picking girls from bars or visiting the wrong massage parlours.

So I would like to make a request for the forum regulars to pool their knowledge and create a newbie guide that will cover all that a beginner needs to have an absolutely smashing time in Bangkok and the rest of Thailand.

The guide would cover the following:

1) Best beer bars for the best girls

2) Best massage parlours

3) Hotels, rooms etc, for short time.

4) Best escort services?

etc.

Reckon you guys can come up with a template before I leave?! ;-)

Thanks

Pac

1) 1st time guys...Stay at the Nana hotel in Bangkok.

2) 1st time guys...Stay at Penthouse in Pattaya.

3) Split your time between both places...decide for yourself where the best bars are!

4) FM is right...to hard to make a guide! There are seveal out there: Duncan's guide, Pattaya pages, Bangkok tonight, baht bus, nanaplaza...take a look at these! However, if you take a little time and discover on your own when in town you will harvest a better time! There are bars and gogo's I like that others think are garbage! So split your time between Pattaya and Bangkok and find out for yourself! Your time in LOS will rock your world to it's core and the small things you are asking will seem petty once in the shit!

The main thing is to go with the flow, but do look out for overpricing and scams that you've read about here.

If you're new and a bit shy, just relax, if a bar is not to your taste, got to the next one - there are too many.

Cheers

Just hit a busy beer bar and chat with a few ex-pats.

Getting a list can be decieving as things tend to change from bar beer to go-go around high season as new talent arrives. Isan must loose 20% of it's population around this time of year, from all the new girls bussing down to BKK!

Sometimes you'll stummble on a group of local ex-pats and get a monger tour from an ex-pats point of view, this way you can see for yourself, with the resolve that first hand experience is right there at your fingertips, priceless!

Empiracle knowledge goes a long way here, you can spent a whole night running around to shitty places on bad advice. I've lived here for 2 years a block away from NEP and I am STILL finding new places to monger. .

Nana's a good place to start cause it's in the middle ground of the places you'll probably end up, good for BKK cause you're between Pat pong, and Soi Cowboy, plus you've got the beer garden on soi7, Suk, in the afternoon, great place to pick up local info, and grab a girl early. Morning Night bar,Soi 4, Suk is also good for info or an afternoon delight. Some might tell you these places suck for talent, but I don't think you can argue the value of info you can grab at these places in the early part of the day.

The go-go rankings on this site are pretty decent if your a first timer.

Chock Dee!!
