Flashermac
I haven't seen the baloot vendors in Bangkok lately, thank God. Maybe it's fallen out of fashion and gone back where it belongs.
sidsanuk
Love most Thai food. Som Tam is my favorite. But I avoid all the offal/insect based stuff. Call me picky, but I prefer not to eat parts of animals such as organs and intestines, even in the West. Don't even like liver.
Pescator
Sai Gorp, isan sausage with loads of garlic in it. I actually like it as a snack. However, on a trip to Phetchabun I had the pleasure of witnessing the process of preparing it. Several women sitting on chairs placed on a concrete floor right next to the main road were filling casings with minced pork and garlic. The casings were quite long and were graciously draped on the concrete floor right next to their sandals. Thankfully it is fryed before being served. cheers hn

Central Scrutinizer
Yep,Especially Pork Blood. They steam it into a solid block and cut it into cubes. Common in Kwaiteaow (spelling?) and Gaeng kiewan Gai. Cheers Dumsoda, Yep, that's one thing I don't eat as well. The blood cubes. Cent

Vintage_Kwai
I don't mind exotic - a tom yum made with the roe of the snake-head fish I had up near Ayuthaya was pretty good, but I won't go anywhere near the barbecued rat or birds thay sell at the roadside stalls. There are also a couple of fruits I don't go for - one is red on the outside and has scales like snake skin, the other is dragon fruit - although I will eat durian. If you like exotic, the Pan Fah restaurant near the democracy monument, and next to the Nang Leung police station, is packed out every lunchtime. They serve an excellent chinese-style pork brain soup.
