I don't shag because I am not brittish ;)! The whores are thai people too, is that right or don't we consider them human anymore? You are exactly right, I don't know anything, because since I am a resident I refuse to make social contacts with regular people, I don't run a business there, I am just sayting in bed all day. My ex girlfriend wasn't working in a Bank and her friends which I have never met since she wasn't my girlfriend haven't been working in a bar either. My Thai Neighbours are all pricks because they are not hookers, I wouldn't dare talking to them just for that reason. I am totally not interested to know about thai people, when I see a Thai Man all I see is a father of a tight thai pussy! :hubba:

You are right, I am just going to Pattaya to brag about it online!

No offence Mekong, do you have the Savant Syndrome? Because I have no Idea in which context you came up with that? If you are a GTG Allie you might want to tell her to stop insulting and provoking people!

people why do you feel all these personal attacks are needed? is it because also the moderators lately allow it?

all I fear is that its gonna make the attitude in this section so bad that its gonne complete its dying process to the end :(

CT keep it up as long you can bear it :)

mekong, care to share any of your exposures to the real 'thainess' or would that be too much to ask?

can't wait for the next RT thread :cover:

Just tell me, ikkrang, what is "Thai" and "Un-Thai" to you.

I don't see the board rules that has anything about too short or too long post !

Actually, my reply to Thalenoi has another paragragh to it. I think I posted enough to express my thought.

I'm sure I'm not the one who has this thought.

:shakehead

Only confirming it is time to close this thread.

Also, by the tone, language and content of GTG' response, I'm starting to feel some slight doubts. She is responding in very definite terms "Yes" to a multitude of Thalenois's questions. Sounds a little over-the-top and slightly un-THai to me

Sure since you ask.

First visited here in 1988 and have lived and worked in Thailand since Feb 91. At first it was all P4P and ended up marrying an Ex-BG against all good advice / judgement, got divirced in 99.

Continued to stay working here, going back to my home country would have been admitting defeat and started to make friends away from P4P scene.

Met a Thai Lady in 2001 who is now my wife.

Work for a MNC of which 90% of the staff approx 590 are Thai's, my daily work is mainly with Thai's either in House or Thai Clients.

I have travelled with Thai work colleuges to China, Tawain, Singapore, German, Italy and Spain on business trips. During the week I have lunch with Thai work colleuges on a Daily basis and at least once a month we will have a "Team Bonding" evening social event.

When home in BKK at the weekends The wife and I tend to socialise with her family and friends.

I apologise to CT for being a bit harsh in my previous post, but up until 1999 I used to think that I knew quite a bit about Thailand and its people, but in the years since then I have come to realise that I had a very narrow view of the overall picture at that time, maybe if I had said it like this it would not have come across as derogitory.

I am not trying to be "Holier than though", just stating my opinion, based upon my own personal experiences, that what may be assumed as an insight to Thai life as stated by CT amongst others is only a small part of the overall.

And before you make any assumptions, I do not look down on people who engage in P4P scene, I may be accused of being many things but a Hypocrite is not one of them, its just that after 11 years of being involved, 3 as a regular tourist and 8 living here I decided it was time for a change FOR ME. Personaly I feel I have learned a lot more in the last 7 years than I did in the previous 11.

I hope that answers your question.

Fair enough mekong we all appreciate your RT history as well as LOS history even what I was hoping for of course is a whole new RT thread of sorts :)

Anyways seems you're doing pretty good integrating into mainstream society, but here on this board & overall you'll still have to deal with 'insights' from people with less years exposure to LOS & more 'refreshing' views, experiences etc.

See you around

Mekong,

the apology wasn't necessary, I wasn't angry at you. Apology accepted! I just didn't understand why you brought up this topic. I was amused by GTGs post who was asked 7 questions which she answered with a plain "yes", that was a comedy moment for me which made me giggle, i guess you assumed I was laughing about her as a person!

Thank you for sharing your story, I am sure you have without a doubt more experience about thai people than me and so have many others! I will do my own in the next years, I will either catch up or I will make completely different experiences, Important for me is to make my own!

I didn't think you are a hypocrit, since I try not to judge people based on their online profile, that is where I probably have a greater experience than the most. I can proudly say that I was one of the first web designers in Germany, I did designs when In Europe the people didn't even know what "Email" is. I am posting on discussion boards since 1997 and many have been business related, I have met more than 200 people which I've met online and I can clearly say that the least of them has been anything like their board characters. That is why I try to stop figuring people out!

P4P is not all I do in Thailand, Mekong. I have recently sold my porn websites and setup 2 new businesses in Pattaya. The nightlife was definately the reason that got me on the hook and sometimes I love to gloat about it since things are so crazy and sometimes "unreal" but this is what I do at night. Maybe I sometimes sound that I am just bragging, I understand that point, on the other hand I was working almost everyday 12-18 hours since I am 18yo to have a better life one day. When my friends went out to do fun stuff I was sitting in front of my screen making money. So maybe I compensate all the time I've lost in this pahse of my life and I am so happy about it that I want to share it with the world. The other question is "why does it bother people?" I am happy for others when they are posting about their fun times, because what I have learned is that having fun is the greatest Luxury on earth after beeing healthy!

Not everything I do is perfect and I will learn my lessons but I have to learn it on my own!

Maybe I see you one day, Mekong and then I will buy you an ice cold beer! :)

MaiSabai, that could be part of my "Problem" I see things posted and and think back to when I was of the same opinion and cringe at my own naievety at the time. Most of my negative postings are borne of the fact that I have "Been There, Done That, Thought That, Got the T-shirt" attitude ... but I dont want to say that as such to others. So maybe I make snide remarks to give them Aural Sex (Prick up Their Ears)... the Frustration of seeing others following the same path I took, I should shut up and let them find out for themselves.

CT no offence meant, You remind so much of myself many years ago, enjoy it and follow your own path.

I hope to catch you both around.
