I did take a really swell course in B school aptly named Conceptual Foundations of Business aka Confounds, that was taught by a very weird socialist. The black folks were labeled as "stupid" because per the IQ test, they were not intelligent. Why did you leave your last home in the south and move to Udon, was it the Thais or Your attitude? Assholes attract assholes you are at your true level. Hmmm, Why did I leave my last home in the South? Wasn't it my gf's attitude vis a vis our neighbours according to some on this board??? Now I could have started a tread on how practical thais are and that would have earned me brownie points? I do learn everyday from thais by observing them but I decided to tell and ask about stupid behaviour not experienced in our western world wearing our western glasses. Where have I implied ALL thais are stupid? The tread title was a question by the way. Some posters got it, others including yourself dont. Don't tell me that's my fault. I do see un-western dumb behaviour every day (see how they ride motorbikes), shake my head and go on with my life. Some of that behaviour is so out of the ordinary that I found it worth asking. I do think you have poor judgement not being able to see beyond a topic title. So who is the dumbest farang, you or me??? To Bangkoktraveller: It was worse, they built the ceiling after they did the flooring, laying cloths and carton all over the place to give some protection to the tiles, with the result you can imagine. My Process Engineer is a Thai Grad who did her major in France, yes did her major in Paris in French Language in Chemical Engineering. She is Fluent in English and French, and good at her job. ... my protege, he majored in Germany, nothing special just install another S-HCF train on the Jarong Refinery for ExxonMobil, Oops the worlds biggest company at the moment, bigger than GE now. Another Tri-Lingual Thai. ... my wife, Thammasat Grad MBA in the States,worked for MCN in Europe before we met, again fluent in English (as many people on this board can testify) and her written Chinese is quite good. ... my Brother and Sister in Laws, also Thammasat Grad but Majored in the UK, ...
