Was actually pretty funny Alonso winning. After the qualifying on Saturday there was an interview with him where he said it would be impossible to win from his starting position (15th or something?). He did have the pace to win when given the chance, others did not. Wonder what the team is saying to Piquet Jr. though? How do you chew out a guy that by crashing out gave Alonso the win? :cover:

Was an interesting race. Even a couple of passes for postion.

Williams have announced that both Nico Rosberg and Kazuki Nakajima will continue to race for the team next season. The British team also confirmed that Nico Hulkenberg, who is currently leading the Formula Three Euroseries, will carry on as test driver.

BMW Sauber confirmed on Monday that current line-up, Robert Kubica and Nick Heidfeld, will continue to race for the team next season. With continuity being BMW Sauberâ??s watchword for 2009, third driver Christian Klien will stay on too.

 

"We see Nick and Robert as a strong driver pairing and Christian as an experienced test driver,â? explained BMW Motorsport director Mario Theissen. â??We are in no doubt that we will again achieve our ambitious aims with them in the team's fourth year.
