drogon
With my previous girlfriend I found a convenient way to play games as much as I wanted. -> gave her a PC -> sims 2.......
bibblies
Jeez - you guys sound under the thumb! You have to make excuses to be able to play a few harmless games? It illustrates the perversity of women perfectly. If it involves men having fun, they instinctively want to clamp down on it.

Weird
EA destroyed C&C for me with Generals... I could have written better peer-to-peer code while sleeping. I hope you weren't one of the testers for that!
drogon
EA did and does a lot of crap I was the project lead for C&C but you should not confuse the QA work and development....... We report the issues/bugs, if the studios or/and the producer do not accept to correct them this is not our fault.
Weird
Indeed. I'm familiar with the software development cycle. It just depends whether or not it was caught and whether or not they decided to fix it. Often times I find stuff while programming that the QA team misses and put in fixes myself and make them re-test it all over again
drogon
Depends on the company Weird, depends on the QA size, depends on deadlines set. A crappy game like army of 2 stayed in QA 8 months and was re-submitted twice (once rejected by third party) and many issues were not corrected by the studios........While some great games stayed only 3 weeks. (of course in our case there is QA attached to the studios, QA/ECG, QA/LT and finally UAT which is a joke -> they are paid to give good reviews to the game which is not our case)
