Coss
Hi all, I'm just about to book the below hotels for my family pilgrimage to Surin this Xmas. If any one has any comments good or bad about these could you please make 'em, I'd be grateful. I've stayed at the Thong Tarin before and quite like it, but the other two I've no experience of. Baiyoke Suites Bangkok http://www.asiarooms.com/thailand/bangkok/baiyoke_suite.html Pornping Chiang Mai http://www.asiarooms.com/thailand/chiang_mai/pornping_tower.html Thong Tarin Surin http://www.asiarooms.com/thailand/surin/thong_tarin_hotel.html Cheers Coss
CTO
Baiyoke is cheap but in a shitty area for travelling around - NOT near a Tollway Skytrain or Subway so you have to taxi all the time and peak hour there is 24/7 DONT stay there! Plenty nice family places on skytrains etc
..
Second that re: Baiyoke. How about the Pratumwan Princess or the Grand Mercure Fortune? Ms Vampy & I were really pleased with our hotel in CNX: Tamarind Suites. Great facilities, location and staff. But maybe too spendy for your goal . That reminds me, I should put that in the hotel review section. EDIT: oh goody, someone already did: http://www.thai360.com/fbb/showtopic.php?tid/526417/ Cheers, SD
