unit731
I think that is the same rooster that wakes me each morning at the Nana Hotel! Or do all roosters look the same? Nice pictures though! It is refreshing to see someone take another view of Thailand other than number 23 at Hollywood on 3rd floor in Nana Plaza! khunsanuk
Hi, Looks like quite a bit of trees in your area. I wish we had some of those up in my wife's village, but alas it's all flat there; nothing but rice fields. Sanuk!

You mean every morning at the Nana, you are awaken by your cock don't you?
CTO
Area is Sakon Nakorn - near where Tartemption and I met for a drink last week. Trees? Well - it helps when I only shoot in the direction of trees Not exactly forest's but a lot of Wat's. What I find is the Wat's have trees and make good backdrops but it is a bit more "treey" than many other areas.
Bangkoktraveler
Looked like one picture was a place where they make charcoal.
CTO
What's in the pictures? The first one is "thongs" made from a large been pod. These are very popular in our village area. Don't last long though. The "Fish Trap" is used to catch anything worth eating during the flooding. It's not a bread oven - rather it's a charcoal maker - see the logs beside it. The butterfly is actually very large - nothing to show it's size. It was as large as a sparrow though. The Sala is my fishing lodge Lazyphil! Sadly a little flooded! I fish with a line and hook - the lady is fishing with a huge net - if she caught anything decent I doubt she could lift it up - they struggle just lifting water! Talk about a log ridge
