In Bangkok? Easiest is the passport office in Central Bang-Na, basement 1. Need ID, tambian baan and (maybe?) birth certificate. Usual turnaround is less than a week.

If she's under 20, then both parents must sign off on it too.

I think it costs ~B1200.

Cheers,

It's VERY fast - very efficient. You go - get a number and then move from station to station following a path. Also can get it done out on Chaeng Wattana at Foreign Affairs.

Takes about 3 - 5 days to deliver to home - choice EMS when your at the place and you'll have it delivered to your door for 350 baht going on memory.

Fast and easy!

As of 6 months ago, the Passport Office in CENTRAL/BANG NA was in the 5th floor of the parking garage. Just go in the main entrance of the mall, up to 5 and follow the signs to the garage. The office is rimed with blue lights so easy to find.

The girl I took there got her passport in a week. She wasn't asked for her house papers, only her ID but that may not be consistent. She didn't need to bring photos, they took the photo there.

B1200 is about right.

They stop taking applications at 3pm.
