Bushism's...how we'll miss them!

The brilliance of George "gimme a Mulligan" Bush's presidency:

* After Hurricane Katrina President Bush kept our cities safe.

* After the October 2008 stock market correction there have been no Great Depressions.

* After the Enron collapse, there were no collapses for six years.

* After Iraq and Afghanistan took a turn for the worse, President Bush kept us from losing any wars.

* After the District Attorney firing scandal, the outing of Valerie Plame and other scandals, President Bush restored integrity to government.

* After divisive elections President Bush united our country.

* After Abu Ghraib, President Bush reaffirmed America's adherence to the Geneva Conventions and against torture.

* After 9/11, the anthrax mailings, and the DC sniper, President Bush kept America safe from terrorist attacks on American soil.

See?

What a load of crap.

Hurricane Katrina - It was a storm SD. Get over it.

Enron - A badly run company failed. So what?

"Iraq took a turn for the worse" - Then it got better. War is like that, or worse.

"District Attorney firing scandal, the outing of Valerie Plame and other scandals" - It is not Pres. Bush's fault that leftists spew mountains of crap over nothing.

"divisive elections" - You call elections you lose "divisive" and ones you win "unifying" because you are a psychotic retard.

Abu Ghraib - Much leftist panty-wetting over almost nothing. You people were trying to lose the Iraq war and almost succeeded. Almost.

"9/11, the anthrax mailings, and the DC sniper" - President Bush has kept us safe from terrorism. That's a readily observable fact. As for the DC sniper, if you want black people to not commit psychotic acts of racist terrorism then step one is for you, SD, to stop telling black people that they are justifird in being psychotic racists (e.g. see the BART shooting thread).

Here we sit at the end of his term. The worst deficit in history; the economy in a nose dive and bringing the rest of the world with us; mired in two wars that have no good exit strategy; the most corruption in our country's history; prominent members of his party and supporters indicted or in jail; billions of dollars that just go "missing" in Iraq; tens of thousands of people killed unnecessarily; an energy policy that helps the terrorists but not the American people; the perps who are responsible for 9/11 running free; the worst AG in memory; a ruined reputation around the world and a country more divided than I can remember.

And RY and his ilk think he did ok. Man do you guys have some low standards!

The key here is that I think what you say in this post is almost 100% bullshit.

The George W. Bush Presidential Library, now in the planning stages, is accepting donations. The Library will include:

â?¢ The Hurricane Katrina Room, which is still under construction.

â?¢ The Alberto Gonzales Room, which contains no memories.

â?¢ The Walter Reed Hospital Room, where they don't let you in.

â?¢ The Guantanamo Bay Room, where they don't let you out.

â?¢ The Texas Air National Guard Room, where you don't even have to show up.

â?¢ The Weapons of Mass Destruction Room, which no one has been able to find.

â?¢ The National Debt Room, which is huge and has no ceiling.

â?¢ The Tax Cut Room, with entry only to the wealthy.

â?¢ The Economy Room, which is in the toilet.

â?¢ The Iraq War Room. (After you complete your first visit, they make you go back for a second, third, fourth, and sometimes fifth visit.)

â?¢ The Dick Cheney Room, in the famous undisclosed location, complete with shooting gallery .

â?¢ The Environmental Conservation Room, still empty.

â?¢ The Supreme Gift Shop, where you can buy an election.

â?¢ The Airport Men's Room, where you can meet some of your favorite Republican Senators.

â?¢ The Decider Room, complete with dart board, magic 8-ball, Ouija board, dice, coins, and straws.

Please elaborate. And don't forget to mention Charlie Rangel, Harry Reid, Rod Blagojevich, Acorn, Barney Frank, and the most corrupt of all Nancy Pelosi.

First of all, conservatives seem to think that liberals are democrats which is not always the case. Most people I know do not like either party and find the whole political system to be corrupt and unethical. I think there is actually very little difference between the parties and what actually happens when they are in power. Republicans are supposed to be for small government but we have just witnessed the greatest transfer of wealth from the taxpayers to individuals and businesses in history!

Lewis Libby; Jack Abramoff; David Safavian; Tom Delay; Bob Ney; Bernie Kerik; Ralph Reed; Conrad Burns; Robin Vanderwall; John Doolitle; Roger Stillwell; Mark Zakares; Dana Rohrabacher; J.Steven Griles; Tony Charles Rudy; Jim Ellis; Warren Robold; Michael Scanlon; William Heaton; Jim Ellis; John Colyandro; Ben Stevens; Michael Aron Lay; Claude Allen; Edmund Matricardi; John Rowland; Randy Cunningham; George Ryan; Scott Fawell; Bradley Hiller; Dan Druen;

Those are just the ones that are indicted. The list of Republicans under investigation for corruption; perjury; rape; pedophilia; lewd conduct; espionage and other crimes are too long to post here.

You got to admit when billions if not a trillion in dollars go missing, some people like that even if up to a million civilians get killed. Some people also like it when the oil 'crisis' fuels the 'terrorist' because it means more money in their pocket. As for corruption, "What corruption?"

Chris Dodd' date=' Eliot Spitzer, Kwame Kilpatrick, Sheila Dixon...[/quote']

You guys are just listing the people you think are corrupt and I do not disagree with your list. But I thought we were talking about indictments here!

Whoa! It is true that Chris Dodd hasn't been indicted (though he should be). The rest are well into deep shit. Spitzer resigned and is still being investigated regarding misuse of campaign funds. Former Detroit Mayor Kilpatrick is in jail. Baltimore Mayor Dixon was indicted last week on twelve (12) felony counts.

Plus I forgot to mention a personal favorite, former New Orleans Congressman William "Cold Cash" Jefferson, indicted on a raft of felony charges years ago and allowed by the Democratic leadership to continue serving through one re-election until he was displaced from office in an irregular runoff election that led to his defeat by Republican newcomer Joseph Cao.
