cavanami
Just clicked on "General Discussion" and got the following, filling the entire screen: Warning: in_array(): Wrong datatype for second argument in [internal URL]/fbb/includes/common.php on line 6691
khunsanuk
Hi, Yeah, I had temporarily turned on the option to show PHP warnings/error in an effort to find out what is causing the slowdown. No success though. Going through the settings now tweaking stuff to get a speed improvement. Sanuk!
Lusty
Yes,I've noticed its a lot slower than it was and that's with 20mb download speed.
khunsanuk
Hi, Jigger has gone over the database and has manually optimized all the tables. Unfortunately, that didn't make any difference Neither did tweaking some of the config settings. Have posted on the dev board, but they say there shouldn't be any speed difference between the 2 versions. So, no progress yet Sanuk!
CTO
it seemed a little faster today but who knows - are the ads casing problems again?
khunsanuk
Hi, I too got the feeling it is a *little* faster today, but not sure. Don't think it is the ads, but rather the load on the database. Look to the bottom of the page and it lists the 'Execution time:', this is how long it took the server to create the page. They are way too high, often 20+ seconds. Sanuk!
Mentors
it works slowly
Faustian
I'm getting execution times of around 4 seconds today, so better today, still not as it was, but better. Thanks KS.
BelgianBoy
Execution time: 31.91 seconds. Total Queries: 78 Zlib Compression is on. All times are (GMT +0100) Central European. Current time is 14:51 A bit slower in my neck of woods then.....probably also explains why so few postings here today. BB
