cavanami
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090301/ap_on_go_pr_wh/stimulus_health_insurance Big splash in the news but nothing to follow...more Big O bullshit! I need health care NOW...not months or years from now!!! WASHINGTON â?? The Obama administration rushed to include a health care safety net for laid-off workers in the recently signed stimulus bill, but has not told employers exactly how to make it work. As a result, tens of thousands of jobless people could wait months before getting help paying for health insurance that their employers previously had covered... unit731
One suggestion is to 'move' to a country that does have 'free' health care. Get a PO Box in Canada, England, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Australia, New Zealand, Poland, or wherever. Then . . . no worries. Except getting there to see a doctor. Oh, not to worry in socialist, left wing Germany (with a conservative chancellor) for unemployed health care is not only free but we have free choice of the doctor (which might change in the future) as well. PS: No one in Germany is against this (for American eyes) 'socialist' system, even the most conservatives. We even just changed the laws to make sure that no one is uninsured in Germany. But of course the admirers of a more Darwinist system (the poor/unemployed shall die earlier) will hate Obama and love the GOP...
Bangkoktraveler
Kamui, the GOP does not disagree that you can have your choice of doctors in Germany, but thy claim they are all witch doctors and how they make money there money is by stealing your kidneys and other body parts. Bangkoktraveler
The GOP believes it is part of "Freedom and Democracy" to provide and pay for health care to their Iraqi brethrens but it is pure demonic Socialism if health care is provide beyond the health care government employees receive. Weird
Typical attack conservatives if there is a problem with the Obama administration attitude. Nothing new here, move along.
