Pol Col Kachornsak said he was addressing US rumours that the American movie star might have been killed by a gay man in his room. The policeman said closed circuit television cameras in front of Carradine's room showed that he went into his room alone, and forensic investigators have found no evidence there ever was a second person in the hotel suite. Carradine, 72, was in Bangkok to shoot a movie. He was found by a room maid, partly tied in a closet in the room at the Nai Lert Park hotel on June 5. Investigators believe he died from an accident during a session of asphyxiophilia, or auto-erotic asphyxiation during a bout of masturbation. A full report on the death is due shortly from Khunying Porntip Rojanasunan, director of the Central Institute of Forensic Science, head of the coroner's investigation. I was talking to a gay guy here on Holiday from Canada and this was his first reaction. When one considers some of the weird sexual activities that go on (personally, I would put S&M in this arena), it certainly seems possible.
