Additionally, Rush is mr. clean American, who bashed rock stars for drug use, while doing the same thing...some blame his hearing problems on his use of Oxycontin. Don't get me wrong, it is a terrible loss, but it was well, for lack of a better term, an act or war or a terrorist attack. Who is real liable here? As has been pointed out, many people get injured in crimes and get ziltch for it, why these guys? Other than any insurance they may have had, I don't see where this sense of entitlement comes from. I think the rationalization was that by doing this, in which all the recipients had to sign a waiver from suing anybody, particularly the airlines involved, it ended up saving money in the long run the government probably would have spent bailing the airlines out. They both see all the wrong with the 'socialist' that now 'rule the USA but both have not yet left the country so I guess 'socialism' isn't really that bad for them.
