Pattaya, November 3 [PATTAYA ONE NEWS] : Late on Monday Night, Police Lieutenant Colonel Sanae from Pattaya Police Station was called to an apartment complex in Soi 2 off the Tepprasit Road in Jomtien where reports of a murder had been received. On the 5th floor, officers were directed to a room and inspected the blood stained body of Khun Samreung aged 51 who works as a Baht Bus Driver. Nearby was his wife, Khun Tawiporn aged 39 who was slightly injured. She explained that the pair had gone out to celebrate the Loy Krathong Festival and drank heavily during the night. When they returned home, they decided to go straight to bed but began a verbal altercation before they retired to the bedroom. When in bed, the pair began to fight over the blanket due to the cool evening temperature and Khun Tawiporn claims that during the struggle, her Husband slapped her face. This escalated into a full scale fight during which she picked up a knife and fatally stabbed her husband. Steve Posted November 8, 2009 Report Share Posted November 8, 2009 Like all such similar cases, it really wasn't about the blanket. Anything would have eventually set her off. Its a build up over a long period of time. It could have been leaving the toilet seat up. She'll have a long time to think about it in jail.
