gobbledonk Posted December 17, 2009 Report Share Posted December 17, 2009 Yep - the first time I saw anything like this I was a bit gobsmacked, but some of the stuff written for Farang entering the bar scene for the first time is total crap too. Sure, plenty of warnings, but so many bloody cliches and stories that no-one over the age of 12 would believe. They routinely paint *all* Thais in the light of their own dismal experiences. These guys were losers when they left Farangland, and they have kept up their average in the LOS. I still give the girls credit for being fast learners - for example, how much Japanese do you think Britney Spears would pick up sitting around a bar on Soi 33 for a month or two ?
