Saw an advert on the TV, some white, red haired politician saying that the US needs to do profiling! He said, more or less, WTF, if the terrorists were white, red haired people, then he would have NO ISSUE with being searched or asked questions.

Then he made the point. showing on "normal" white person and asking "who looks like a terrorists", then bringing out a middle eastern man...enough said, let's get real and fix the problem(s)!!!

That would certainly catch Jihad Jane.

"...In Arizona, the government tightened down on the border making more drug traffikers come thru Arizona. If they tighten the border more, it will make Arizona more violent..."

If the Arizona Government tightened up the border how is it that MORE illegal drugs and people got through? If they tighten up the border even more, that will make the illegals more violent? Your logic fails me...so do nothing, and let them run wild and free to do as they please?

"...The issue reaaly isn't about illegals but about USA citizens love for illegal drugs. That issue isn't being addressed. Never has been..."

The issue IS about illegal immigrants, always has been. The fact that many of these illegals are involved in drugs is just one reason to crack down on them. Keep them out, you keep the drugs out. At least the drugs coming through that hole.

[color:red]What is wrong with stopping someone who is suspected of committing the crime of illegal immigration, or who has been stopped for another reason, and being asked to prove their identity?[/color] If they can't speak English and have no local/real/NON faked documents, then what is wrong with pushing that further and asking them to prove they are here legally? Who cares if the illegals are caught by the border patrol, the local cops or the state cops as long as they are caught?

You cannot simply let these people keep coming in and out freely. You crack down on them as well as those who hire them, punish all involved.

It was the USA government that tightened down the border forcing more illegals and drug traffikers to Arizona. People in the USA want their drugs and no matter what, the people will get them.

Several Arizona cities hae already filed suit against this law. Why? Too expensive to implement. Taxpayers can not afford it!

The idea of being asked to prove you are a USA citizen is repulsive to me especially while during the time period it takes you to be able to produce the proper documents, the criminal gets further away.
