[i would have let let them cross and saved the taxpayers a bundle of money.

Have u ever compared the long term cost of building a school for the kids, providing free lunches for them, paying for a bus to pick them up and take them to and from school, paying their teachers, providing free health care/hospitalization, a college education, subsidized rent, subsidized utilities, or the cost of incarcerating them when they commit a crime...to what it costs to kick their asses back across the border?

The new law doesn't go into effect till July and it does not include self deportation.

According to the new law, if the local police get their hands on any illegals (even if they are already on their way back to Mexico) it means time in jail (at taxpayers expense) and a $500.00 fine. If they can't pay the fine, I guess the taxpayers will have to take another beating.

It seems a big portion of the weapons (assault rifles) used by the Mexican gangs come from the USA! The CBP are now looking for folks bringing weapons INTO Mexico. :susel:

OH, have you looked at the amount of money generated by the illegals in the USA? They are buying cars, renting apts, buying consumables, etc. This boosts the local economy AND State tax receipts.

Yes...they buy old cars, don't have insurance, 1 guy rents an apartment and 10 people live in it, they send their kids to schools they don't pay for, use emergency services, or cause the need for their use, hospitals etc and for the most part, they pay no taxes, and undercut wages. The handful that do pay taxes do so because they have fraudulent documents and are thus committing identity theft/fraud which is also a crime.

As for the guns made in the USA...simple if they can sneak people and drugs in, why can't they sneak guns out? There is a criminal element involved in all of this, one way or another, to one degree or another. No idea why some of you fail to face facts here.
