tartempion
Bangkok Miami was bad enough dec 1990. Got there via the Don Muang airport hotel desk. Worst sleeping place must have been some place in Malaysia near Sadao Thai border, had to find a place to lay down because the border crossing was closed after 5pm or something like that. Next day managed to cross into Thailand and hit hth Samila beach hotel In Songkhla, what a rusted place! Next night was not much better in Pattalung. Those were my Backpacking days
simie
PB was 700 up until 2 or 3 years ago when it was raised to 800. Haven't stayed there for that long so it may be more now. Used to be a good value at 700 with the big rooms and big bed but I have a feeling it's more than 800 now. Anybody know for sure?? Perv, My brother had a night at the PB when passing through Bangkok a week ago and it was still 800B. Simie.

chuckwoww
Well if you're going to go there what about the Miami? Hot and cold running rats. Or the Tower Hotel Manila before the great clean up. Or the Concord on Del Pilar with the 'meet your neighbours' walls.
BadaBing
Next night was not much better in Pattalung. I was there earlier this year , pretty decent hotel (?)... 300 bt / night.
pe7e
Sukhumvit Crown, many years ago, 200 bht and worms coming out of the taps. Sukhumvit Crown gets my vote too, possibly the worst hotel I've used in Thailand. I atayed 1 night, which was 1 night too many. The only good things I can say about it are, it had a big old weighing machine in the lobby, which was handy to check my luggage wasn't over weight, and it was cheap. Nervous God
Was this the hotel down a lane off soi 8? Was a short cut to soi 6 past a blow job joint? If so i stayed there once there was a mirror on the ceiling.
USVirgin
I wonder why that scale was in the lobby. Was it for weighing visitors too?
Hugh_Hoy
Probably there to make sure the hotel's floors/beds could hold the weight. HH
