ozpharlap
I recall once, after spending about 3 consecutive years in Darwin, I went back home to Sydney to visit family (where I had lived for the 25 years prior to moving to Darwin). It was early summer, and everyone else is wearing tee-shirts and shorts. I had them give me a blanket and turn up the heater. One hour later, playing poker, everyone else is sweating like pigs and I am still shivering ... Bangkok is similar to Darwin, the temperature range is not great, maybe changing 5 degrees from night to day, so, a big shift in temperature you can really feel

expat
Well, it's currently 23 deg C in Pattaya at 1:42pm, which should be the warmest part of the day. And my nipples have gone hard! I want a picture to prove it!
shygye
Washington DC had snow during the Cherry Blossom Festival. Usually this is caused by the jet stream dipping far to the south. Look on the bright side! Saving baht by turning off the aircon and you can walk around without getting soaked in sweat.

gobbledonk
I still think cold feels worse when there is no snow - places like Canberra get the icy winds straight off the snow, but you dont get any of the aesthetic benefits.
