khunsanuk
Hi, "even a samantha fox porn one?" Hahahaha, I remember that one, Samantha Fox Strip Poker. Had C64 as well, but never had a VIC20. Sanuk!
Flashermac
I let my ZX81 slip away, much to my regret, though I still have a ZX Spectrum packed away somewhere. My friends mostly had Commodores, and what I really liked about the Commodore was that each time there was an upgrade, it could still use the older computer's programs. Pom Michael
My first computer was an Atari 400 - then the 800, 800XL and 1200. Those were the days. My first computer (that I bought myself) cost more than a computer today - I think I paid almost 800 dollars for the 800XL. At school we used the TRS-80's to learn how to program. khunsanuk
Hi, I paid 4,000 guilders (~$2,000 at the time) for my first PC, a Commodore PC-30 IIRC. Had all of 640Kb of memory, 40Mb hard disk, EGA gfx and a monochrome monitor. Sanuk!

cavanami
I had bought some XYZ computer that I had to load the OS via cassette tapes. Once loaded I could program in some primitive Basic language. I wrote a program to do some LaPlace Transforms for a class and it took three hours to clunk out the results! but it worked and I passed the class. Cost was about $300 usd at the time. Great memories (nightmares)
Bangkoktraveler
Anybody remember the early IBM mainframes? They had no monitors, etc. Several years ago at Comdex, Las Vegas they had a museum display of computers. One of the computer pieces was an IBM 360. I told the curator some of the parts was missing and he asked me "How did you know?"
