Coss
I know this is a little obvious, but it is a "user agreement" I am user, I agree. Or, I don't want little computer with amazing bells and whistles. I could use snail mail for my communications I suppose. As detailed in the various articles on this subject, this capability is neither new nor unknown. If you want a little computer with amazing bells and whistles that does this stuff then you can have one. The conspiracy theorists, that think Apple, or others is hell bent on knowing where you are when you've (not you personally, us, generally) got your hand up someone's frock, are being super-over-sensitive in this regard. Coss
Well no. No-one has shown that this info goes back to Apple, it's kept on the iDevice and when backed up, on your Mac.

TheCorinthian
Apple (and others) can do whatever the fuck they want this data without telling anyone. And as Apple says in its user agreement they can share the data with whomever they want. W They are still bound to legal codes. And I imagine their lawyers will be felling a sting about it soon no matter what the "user agreement" says.

TheCorinthian
You mean all the "class actions" after they got caught violating the rules? Yes. Obviously, you cant prosecute with out catching someone. But when you do, it hurts the bad guys bad. See much consumer protection in LOS do you?
