It is called Character Acting, IRL Oppenheimer was only about 52 kg and Murphy last weight to play the part, his normal weight is about 70 kg

Actor and comedian Paul Reubens, whose character Pee-wee Herman became a cultural phenomenon, has died aged 70.

Reubens died on Sunday night after a six-year struggle with cancer he did not make public, his publicist said in a statement.

"Please accept my apology for not going public with what I've been facing the last six years," Reubens said in a statement released on Monday with the announcement of his death.

I know everyone remembers him for the Pee-wee character but I thought this was his best work.
