I'll write a story, but fiction is hard for me, life is stranger, as they say. Coss - that was my thinking about Amazon, for locals I guess they could collect cash from KS. Given that, I've promoted/sponsored a few contests and found that I couldn't "give" prizes away ! As noted by others, a few potential contestants are no longer here (at least under their former nom de plume)so getting 20 entries could be quite a challenge. Rather than limiting prizes to books, perhaps there's a way to issue Amazon "gift certificates" or "codes" that can be used toward the purchase of "whatever"; you know, dildos, blow up dolls, DVD's and all the other stuff that you can purchase on line through Amazon. (You can send digital gift cards from Amazon.) I'd be willing to chip in 3000 baht in prize money, if KS can go along with our previous arrangement in getting cash prizes to the winners. Well worth a little poster to stick up around the place to promote the site ( and thaistory I guess by default) but THIS site as the main place. Gotta get 20 entries people! Gotta let people know over maybe ThaiVisa somehow (be sneeky hehehehehe) well, it's a good cause for people to get some $'s isn't it! Maybe some poster up in the gogo bars? Why not? Some BMs have been to hell and back since they discovered LOS, and I think some of those threads were far more interesting than we might have realised at the time. But he couldn't be bothered. He told me bits and pieces, and I wish I could have recorded it on tape. Trink has a pornographic memory and also has a fantastic collection of photos, since the Bangkok World assigned him a photographer to accompany him on his outtings. But I'm afraid it will all probably be lost. He is about 80 now and started his column in 1966! Hell, even I was a kid back then. Just thinking now - perhaps a story where a Police chief meets a beautiful young woman, but she rebuffs him. He takes the unusual step of seeing a psychologist... Whilst being a very powerful man - he deceives himself; perhaps the mighty fall - then maybe the young woman takes pity on him... Just kidding!
