kamui
A Sasquatch Impersonator Was Killed By A Pair of Teenage Girls Posted by Derek_Mead on Tuesday, Aug 28, 2012 I’m as much a fan of cryptozoology as the next guy, but this is taking it a little too far: Randy Lee Tenley, a 44-year old resident of Kalispell, Montana, was killed Sunday night while trying to impersonate a sasquatch. According to authorities, Tenley was strolling along a Montana highway wearing a ghillie suit, the sniper-grade camouflage that makes you look like a big pile of leaves. Now, the whole point of camouflage is to not be seen, so it comes as no surprise that as Tenley wandered about on the highway, he was struck first by a 15-year old girl, and then again by a 17-year old girl in another car. “He probably would not have been very easy to see at all,†Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Jim Schneider said, presumably with a straight face. But why would Tenley be wandering about in the ghillie suit in the first place? Well, according to friends, he wanted to get someone to call 911 to report that Bigfoot was on the loose. Authorities think alcohol may have been a factor. “He was trying to make people think he was Sasquatch so people would call in a Sasquatch sighting,†Schneider said. “You can’t make it up. I haven’t seen or heard of anything like this before." Unfortunately for Tenley, the only call made on his behalf was for an ambulance. Flashermac
15-year-olds can drive legally?
Pom Michael
Yes, in some states they can. I got my learners permit at 15 and believe 15 1/2 got my license (in South Carolina) - then moved to Ohio and was able to drive legally while my friends in Ohio could only drive at 17 (learners permit after a class at 16). Of course this was 30 years ago, maybe things have changed since then.
passingthru69
Some of the western states will let them have a licenese early. But they are restricted to certain hours and radius. Mainly to drive back and forth to school as some farms and ranches are many miles from the school
Coss
NZ used to be, drive around the block on your 15th birthday and if you didn't hit anything, you had a license. We had no Bigfoot or Sasquatch in NZ so unsure about the rules for hitting them. Ask me about Taniwha though and I can give you a potted history
Wallenda
Hm, that was supposed to look like Bigfoot? Looks a lot more like:
khunsanuk
Hi, Bloody sensationalist headline btw. 'killed by teenage girls' seems to imply it was intentional, yet all this was was a road accident that just happened to involve the guy being hit by two cars being driven by teenage girls. Sanuk! Except that the guy made himself almost invisible for the drivers as the police said - even though he intended the opposite result. As I said, this guy is a nominee for the Darwin Award 2012. Of course, it was more like an unintended suicide.
