Tenacious D's Australian visit took a controversial turn this week after video emerged of one member making a controversial joke on stage at the second show of their tour. 

At Sydney's ICC Theatre on Sunday night, band member Kyle Gass said, "Don't miss Trump next time" when fellow member Jack Black asked if he had a birthday wish. 

Gass's comment was made in relation to the attempted assassination of former US president Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania over the weekend.

An alleged American Comedian named Kathy Griffin made a comment about Trump and posted a picture holding up what was supposed to be his severed head. The secret service swooped in on her and she had to be interviewed by some security detail to make sure she wasn’t a real threat…now with all the Trump jokes, I wonder if they will have time..? Memes like this are funny though…

Unattributed information, is that the gunman was confronted by security, whilst carrying the gun and climbing onto the rooftop, but he flashed his republican membership card and said, "it's OK I'm a Republican..." so they let him proceed.

And got swiftly thrown under the bus by Jack Black. Ironic considering his attendance only a couple of weeks ago at the Biden fundraiser. So much for 30 years of friendship.

Nearly 40 years, been mates since 1986.

I have read some stories online and Jack Black can go fuck himself as far as I am concerned, really gone down in my estimations
