…I can’t slag on them as much anymore…reason being, a few nights ago, we were driving around Pattaya, GPS took us down some road that is sup[posed to be closed at a certain time but wasn’t, we ended up in front of some Indian night club, tons of them around, kinda like Custer at little big horn, but a different type of Indian…wife driving (only way I can be in a car and not have to have her critiquing my driving every 3 seconds…) and we hit the end of the road, and these Indian guys stopped the motor bikes and pedestrians out of the way and guided us into an area to turn around, said have a nice night and we went on our way…one guy even scolded a guy on a motor bike for not getting out of our way…very nice guys…probably Punjabi, my experience is Punjabis are usually nicer. Anyway, now I feel bad about slagging on all of them…should pass in a few more days… Side not, tons of hot, nicely dressed girls, mostly Thai, a few Indian lining up to get in when they opened the doors…

Well today we got a coffee maker, Imex brand or something, 1500Bht at Robinson’s in Surin. We are still looking for a food dehydrator and vacuum sealer…and it is looking more like it will have to be an online/blind purchase…Vacum sealers are hit or miss in terms of how long they last. Dehydrators are weird, the cheaper/lower end ones can range in price (in the USA) from about $50 on up with very little difference between a $50 model and $150 model…maybe just size. When you jump to the $250 range and up all sorts of stuff starts to happen…size, extra features etc…problem is, the USA is about the only country that uses some weird electrical system that is not compatible with the rest of the world unless you use all sorts of expensive power converters, so no buying in the USA and bringing over…

I recall the days when “certain types” were not welcome in many bars because of the behavior and in some case how they smelled. I watched a documentary about Jerry Falwell’s son and all his antics. It basically came out that it was all a sham from the start, he doesn’t believe any of the crap he spewed it was all just a game for gain. He hired a pool boy to play with his wife while he watched…then set the guy up in real estate as a pay off to keep quiet…never really believed any of the biblical crap or “christian demands” he placed on others while judging them… Point of saying this, is, that I see many similarities between the Falwell boy and the dump and his regime. All just a show for the idiots to bow to…why these so called “christian voters” fall for this crap is astounding…never under estimate the stupidity of of the American voters. Thomas Jefferson supposedly said “…in the end, the people will get the government they deserve…” he ment good or bad, it is all on us…

So, as mentioned in my previous post announcing my long awaited arrival, there was some excitement while waiting in line at Immigration. Standing there, admiring the view, by that I mean the ass and boobs of a girl or 6 near by, the Thai woman (?) immigration officer in her tight skirt etc…but I digress…so 2 Pakis standing there, one in the Muslim dress, the other dressed more “normal” , cameras out, taking selfies etc, BIG sign in front of them, clearly understandable, stating “NO PHOTOS!” Thai official comes over, tells him “…hey no photo..!” And points to the sign…the fat paki starts rudely waving a hand in his face telling him to go away. The official, now joined by 2 others says “…you have a problem..? You want to go back your country..?” They say no and put the phones away, but were clearly pissed off that they were told to follow the rules. No idea what it is with these people, but they just seem rude from the start.Hat tho think what they are like after a few drinks… ok, rant over…

So we, arrived 2 days ago, on my birthday (HINT!) and went through the new immigration check. Basically, scan a QR code then fill it out, then go wait in line. We hit the line just right, during a lul in the action, about 3 minutes later, tons more people flooded in the line. The time it took to fill out the questionnaire was minimal, basic stuff, though I did manage to screw it up. They had people there to help and it got sorted. The line was average to long, but moved fairly quickly. My wife went through the Thai line, which was basically a passport scan, facial recognition and finger prints. By the time I got past immigration my wife had collected our bags and we were out and in a taxi about 5 minutes later. A note, in the last few/several trips, there has been basically no bag inspection, almost makes us wish we had tried for that 3rd bottle of wine…maybe some steaks and hams…bourbon…oh well, better safe than sorry. Over all, the new system seemed to go faster…see my story about the Pakistanis…

Well as you well know, many “kitchen aides” can be “cross utilized” or modified for a variety of purposes…avoiding those embarrassing moments at the “specialty shops” over by the antennae tower……

Kitchenaide is a brand name, they make all sorts of good stuff, but are known best of all for their stand mixers. As I have one, it is not gay… I have all the marvelous attachments such as ice cream maker, grinder, sausage tubes/stuffer, grain mill and pasta rollers…again, NOT gay…

I could use this, looking for coffee maker and *maybe* kitchen aide mixer and Cuisenart as the ones I have run on USA electric, and am skeptical of voltage converters…
