Yes, if some wealthy thai guy has a "classy"mia noi the whole package can easily amount up to 50 k a month. Think serviced appartment, Honda Civic and such. I know if I am worth US$10mm I am not going to quibble over giving a girl US$1000 a month. If I am the kind of guy who blows $500 every weekend to party at home would sending a chick $500 a month kill me or make that much of a difference in my life? TH Exactly which is why I don't understand why guys ask for a dollar amount when it comes for P4P or supporting a girl. What is a reasonable amount for an allowance... that means GF lives on her own, feeds herself, etc. Yes i agree that we give based on what we make... but what about the fellas making say 20k p/m? They can afford no more than say 5k per month - but is this really fair to our better halves? What i am asking is how much you fellas think is a minumum amount - comfortable amount one should be giving to GF? 10K, 15K, 20k? What have you heard? Confirmed? Most guys I know take care of girls in the 15-40k range. You will hear a lot of bullshit arguments on the standard Thai wage as a barometer and other nonsense but keep in mind we are discussing supporting a kept woman;not a UNICEF refugee eating for .15 cents of rice a day. Women cost money . Assuming you are paying the chick to be EXCLUSIVE. You really have to ask the girl before you can determine what is enough. Some girls would be happy with 15k a month and others wouldn't be satisfied unless they were making 50k+ a month. Alot also depends on where they will be staying(island/upcountry/village/city/etc). A chick who is a BG would be in the 15-50k a month range depending mostly upon what she would lose income wise by staying only with you. You have to remember that if you are dealing with a BG you are replacing her income stream and party lifestyle. Now if you are supporting a mainstream girl or student then there are other variables you have to look at. She may expect some serious shopping money, a condo, a car, motorbike,newest mobile, partying at the best discos where you will easily spend 5-10k a night on drinks. You may even have to give her a credit card to supplement her spending. Some will come cheap and some will be more expensive than a wife. Alot depends on what plans she has for you too. I will give you some good advice. Whomever you do decide to support make sure that they are kept busy with schooling or a job because if you don't the "sit at home bored expenses" will skyrocket! I know of two dancers who were pulled out of Orbit recently... one was getting 30k a month (plus an up-front 'gift' of 100k) from a young wealthy Thai guy. I know a chick who has never worked in the scene being supported by a Japanese business man for 3yrs now, who spends about 1 week a month in Bangkok. She has a condo in the Suk 20's area, a BMW and gets about 250k a month cash. She was a receptionist for a Japanese company and that is how she met the guy. I thought it was bull when her GF who I was hanging with told me about her. I figured the chick had to work as an escort or a MP. That was until I saw her place. Right in the living room was a framed picture of her in her uni gown and cap holding her degree from a decent university and mom and dad smiling during the momentous occasion. Looks like higher education paid off. I wonder if they know how well her sugar daddy is taking care of her. I wonder if she has a lover on the side(too bad it is not me) because sugardaddy is not going to marry her. BTW-what is it with Japanese guys not marrying these Thai girls yet they take care of them for years? Basically you can't afford one. 5k would be a nice supplement providing that she is already working but hardly enough to keep her in a decent standard of living.
