>>>You and I both know that unless *you* have final say you will not accept any venue on the list that you do not agree with and you *will* complain about.<<<

kamui seems to be a sensible person. he proposed the idea, he should do it.

i trust his senses, and his intelligence that he actually would go and try also to find out about the particular places from different sources.

i cannot have a final say as my knowledge on cambodia is dated. i do know more than a want to know about the systematics of indentured prostitution, but i am not up to date about the particular localities.

what i would do is advising kamui on how to research about the localities, how to get correct information from different sources. and most importantly - how to do that without getting killed. because that can happen very fast in cambodia if you stick your nose where you shouldn't.

i would *not* want to have anyone of the blind pro cambodia brigade "researching" it.

kamui is neutral enough for me.

my unanswered question to you, again:

have you ever been in cambodia and had a look into those places?

you mean such as the instance when you sat and deleted one post of mine after the other while i was in PM contact with your comoderator who saw nothing wrong with those posts?

As I said, I was heavy on all the posts, from all, not just yours, you imply I singled you out for special treatment, don't be so paranoid, or get off whatever it is you're on.

>>>By implication you include me in the second group, I quite openly state, I have been to Cambodia on multiple occasions, I have enjoyed the company of many women, none of whom were in any way indentured. I know this, I am a good judge of character, and I don't condone under age or indentured prostitution. To equate men who travel and indulge in P4P as condoning under age or indentured prostitution, is to agree with outfits like AFESIP. <<<

do you have any cambodian language skills to back your good "judge of character"?

i do not "accuse" you of condoning underaged or indentured prostitution. what i accuse you off is being a bit blind towards certain facts.

and it depends very much of where you went while indulging. if you went to the infamous brothelvillages, chances are more than high that you unknowingly went with indentured prostitutes.

I have not been to any brothel/villages, nor any brothels in Cambodia, adult P4P is so wide spread in the bars and nightclubs that there is no need to. My language skills are such that I can travel where and when I want and communicate to whom I wish to. This doesn't mean that I'm fluent in Khmer, but then I'm not fluent in Thai or Tagalog either, but I can still have fun with girls who want to. I'm not fluent in German, but I can still understand what your english offerings are, despite an all too common apparent lack of comprehension on your part.

>>>As a parallel, I relate a recent example of sensationalism on this subject. ECPAT in NZ hit the headlines<<<

i do not like ECPAT. i do not support ECPAT's more than dubious practises and exagerations. i think that ECPAT is a racist organisation that is led by zealots who have no much idea about what happens on the ground. i have also known ECPAT investigators who have left the organisation due to those problems.

and, ECPAT is *not* well liked by many NGOs who i know of doing very good work.

please do not put me into the same boat as those.

Well, something we agree on, fuck I fell off my chair!

i have one question to you, and the other supporters of the cambodia issue:

why did none of you guys catch up on kamui's good idea to identify places of prostitution in cambodia where chances are extremely low to find an indentured prostitute?

isn't that what you would want?

or did i miss something here?

I think that's a lovely idea, but if I go to Cambodia and say XYZ bar is great and has $20 hookers, in the 18 to 25 yr range, all of them 3 holers, you'll trash me

From another post of yours:

westerners, and a few bananas and coconuts

Now if that isn't racist and in direct contravention of board rules I don't know what is - how far will you go in your quest to get booted from here?

Cheers

>>>I would like to know why you NEVER have written up and posted here your "in depth" study of the "low end" Cambo sex scene for the edification and education of us all here.<<<

this was on the nanapong main page for several years. i have pointed you, and others, several times to it. now, i have lost the computerised version in my latest hard drive crash. and i do not have the time to type the whole thing up again.

>>>and even during this with all its distractions I managed to notice many different P4P venues that had nothing to do with brothels and indentured servitude. <<<

excuse me, but is that your only exposure on prostitution in cambodia? is that the only experiences you base you judgement upon?

please, if that really is so than don't bother to answer my posts anymore. do whatever you want to do, because you can do it. but that is a bit of a joke.

>>>Mightn't you consider that maybe YOUR views are skewed because what you sought out to delve into were the worst aspects of the scene, and you WANTED to do an "in depth" study of the low end scene,<<<

actually, nops.

i started off where the average hans sextourist went, told me to go, asked a few questions, and that started my research. one of the 'highlights' was a visit to a slave market which was a main supply market for the infamous km11, and other brothel/brothelvillages where vietnamese girls are offered.

i also spend considerable time in several cambodian villages.

if you would know a bit more about cambodia then you would know that apart from a few bars, almost the whole scene visited by western sextourists is low end.

and even the top notch karaokes for the asian sextourists do get their girls from the same sources.

cambodia *is* not like thailand. but to understand that you will have to spend more time there than just a few side glances during your honeymoon.

Fly,

Taking a short break before bed. May I ask how much time you spent in Cambodia doing your in depth report, why you did so, and how well you speak Khmen yourself? Was this an assignment you were working on, or just something you wanted to investigate for your own personal reasons?

What I find interesting is that the same things you speak of being in Campuchia, the "low end" prostitution and brothels, are also quite easily found in many parts of Thailand. I guess everyone has their own idea of low end as well I'd think. A brothel may be low end and disgusting (certainly something I wouldn't use myself) but I have seen even lower end, being the Surin "Train Station Pros" working the railroad stations along the tracks offering blow jobs for a pack of cigarettes or 40 baht (this was a few years ago) in the weeds and bushes across the railroad tracks from the waiting platform of the train station. Pretty gross and "low end" I'd say. Do they have pimps/mangdas? Are they freelancers? Who are their customers? None other than the local Thai guys passing through or locals with small baht wanting some quick cheap nasty sex. What I am trying to say is what you saw in Cambodia is quite readily available throughout Thailand, just not with flashing neon signs and door touts and all the "western" in your face stuff, and it would still be there even if another westerner never set foot in the country again. Prostitution is endemic to the area and to Thailand. You needn't have gone to Cambodia to see what you saw and to do your "in depth" studies. There's plenty of what you are talking of right there in Bangkok and more so I believe in the outer districts and countryside. And it is growing larger, not fading away. One day I'll tell you what I first saw in Surin about ten years ago, and what it has now. Time to sleep now, perchance to dream.

now, you make me laugh.

are you so desperate to fish for some way to get me booted off the board, that you can't see the humor in there?

and i thought that especially *you* were the one who complains about people being too "PC".

LOL!

>>>My language skills are such that I can travel where and when I want and communicate to whom I wish to. This doesn't mean that I'm fluent in Khmer, but then I'm not fluent in Thai or Tagalog either, but I can still have fun with girls who want to.<<<

i guessed so. a dumb and deaf person can have "fun" with girls. i was not asking you if you can have "fun" with girls, i was asking you if you have enough language skills to communicate a bit more than that. thanks for answering that.

>>>I have not been to any brothel/villages, nor any brothels in Cambodia,<<<

so, you have not even been in KM11, or any other brothel village, and you still defend the place since years?!

you don't even know the location most other sextourists went during their day time "fun", which was advertised consistenly in the trip reports, which i had to debate to the teeth against you and others?!

you have never been in tual corc, km11, boding, the other assorted "chicken farms" in the country?!

you leave me gobsmacked.

what is it - neither cent nor you appear to have the slightest idea about the places i have been talking about, the places i, and others have tried to get eliminated from this board here. yet you still defend them to the teeth, since years.

why on earth did we have then all those debates?

Hi,

" kamui seems to be a sensible person. he proposed the idea, he should do it."

If he would like to then I have no problem with it either. Under the condition that if several other people all agree on a certain venue that you will not barge in and start yelling that it does have indentured prostitution.

As you have said, your information is 4-5 years old and a lot can change in such a time.

"have you ever been in cambodia and had a look into those places?"

No, and I have no desire to visit those places. But I rather fail what it has to do with the issue at hand?

I have never denied it exists, nor do I condone it. All I want is that not everything and everybody is judged to be part of this.

Sanuk!

Fly,

Ah christ. Ya sucked me in again. One last question then on this one.

"actually, nops."

Firstly, what does nops mean, same like nope?

"i started off where the average hans sextourist went, told me to go, asked a few questions,"

Why? I ask perplexed. Were you there specifically to do this research, or were you there as a former sex tourist yourself?

"and that started my research."

Is this actually scientifically based research, or just an adventure in anecdotal information you gained from a trip over? How many times have you been there and why did you go and what were your reasons for going?

"one of the 'highlights' was a visit to a slave market which was a main supply market for the infamous km11, and other brothel/brothelvillages where vietnamese girls are offered."

I've heard of this from others. Something that has been going on for centuries I'd be willing to bet. But nothing I have researched yet for a story. I'd be interested in your describing what you saw and how you came to be there.

"i also spend considerable time in several cambodian villages."

How much "considerable" time? A month? A couple months? A year or two? What do you mean by considerable.

And one more question. While doing your research did you partake of any P4P activities? Just how "in depth" did you go? :)

and yes, in thailand there are more than a few areas nearly as bad as the cambodian brothel villages, only difference is that they are not on the initerary of most sextourists. while the ones in cambodia are, as you can see by the posts of coss and bibblis,

libel #1

i thought that advertising low end prostitution, ergo brothelvillages, are in violation to the board rules. given that - two posters here violated those rules within this thread: bibblis and coss. whatever...

libel #2

OK - libel:

1. A false publication, as in writing, print, signs, or pictures, that damages a person's reputation.

2. The act of presenting such material to the public.

Fly, I demand an apology, in both the above quotes, you clearly impugn my character and reputation by stating that I am:

a/. suggesting that brothel/villages are on my or other travellers itineraries.

b/. advertising low end prostitution, ergo brothel/villages.

This is very clearly not the case and you will not ever find a post from me suggesting anything of the sort. All of my Sanuk has been sourced from Adults, consensually, and from environments such as bars and nightclubs.

If you are unable to provide said apology I will take this up with KS and see what can be done.

Actually - any lawyers out there, what are my chances of filing a suit from one nom de plume against another? Presumably international criminal law would not allow the non prosecution of a crime because the individual was using a nom de plume? This could be fun, internet legal history in the making. :)

what i see is an attempt of you, coss, and bibblis to revert the rules into the previous anything goes attitude.

What you see is reasoned and sensible individuals trying to assert that consensual adult P4P is readily available - a viewpoint you cannot stomach

bullshit. the place i went in was on the mainroad, second floor. virgins available as well.

If me and people like me have never been to these places and you have, who is the person at fault, we only have your word that it is reasearch of the platonic kind, as Cent says, where are the details? Could it be that you are like the reformed smoker, endless rants against something you used to know well?

I'm reminded of an Anti Porn crusader from NZ in the last Century, her name was Patricia Bartlett, she was single and the most vehement anti porn protaganist for 50 years or more. When she died, they discovered the largest collection of Porn they'd ever seen, research you see.

i would *not* want to have anyone of the blind pro cambodia brigade "researching" it.

Of course you wouldn't, my ability as an adult to make up my own mind, is obviously vastly inferior to the thought processes that masquerade as the persona you have, that's crawled out of the deep dark hell that you keep telling us about.

Mods, delete away but read the bit about libel first :)

Cheers
