I'm sure that new posters would find an active dialogue/conversation more interesting than diging through some ancient archive to discover how bright someone was. Although not a discernable problem with this board the "posting" newbie, not the lurkers and visitors, are the seeds that grow the forums most of the time being nurtured with the mothers milk responses of the prolific (posting, not punting) brethren.
