trooper
One thing I haven't yet found in Bangkok is a place that sells good turkish style doner kebab. Does anybody know if there is such a place? I have heard about some cart near Nana Plaza and other one near Grace but haven't seen them myself. trooper
samak said:why turkish kebab?? Because kebab meat inside the pita bread has become almost a new national dish here in my home country and I've kind of addicted to it . Especially good after some beers. Guest lazyphil
I prefer a Turkish Kebab, as trooper says good after beers, I cant say I'll look for one in LOS though.
khunsanuk
Hi, Only place so far I have found that serve it inside a pita bread is the Israeli restaurant roughly opposite of the Emporium. They have 2 choices of meat, beef or duck. Sanuk!
..
Try Soi Nana Nua (soi 3). There is one stall at the corner of the first side soi (RH side coming from Sukhumvit) -- just down to way from our beloved Egyptian restaraunt. Another is at the entrance to the Grace Hotel car park. B50 I think I remember. But I'm f'ked if I know if it is Indian, Turkish or Martian style. It is meat wrapped in a pita with various user chosen sauces... Cheers, SD

junglesoup
I remember a nice Syrian guy has a small stall selling nice turkish style kebabs. This was at the big Singa beer garden near ASoke bts. Apart from that I think soi 3/5 have some pretty good ones. Tried that pita pan place and wasn t impressed. Overpriced and average.
