elef
lazyphil said:Cheese on pancakes, are you sick man? ::!!! Phil, if you visit your motherland (Normandy) you can eat crepes as a starter, as main dish and as dessert. I can recommend shrimps, cream cheese and salmon and finally sugar. Sorry all dutch but I prefer the french version. elef
Straycat
crepes & co, while not up to dutch standard i'm sure, is indeed very nice (albeit pricey). try them!

Dude_Le_Rude
I am aware that you can get pancakes at the Old Dutch... Is there anyplace that is NOT on a street full of bars that me and that special lady can go to?? It would really not be good to be recognized by bar gals while out with the special lady!! khunsanuk
Hi, "what are Dutch pancakes exactly?" They are larger than crepes and American pancakes and often have one or more toppings on them. One pancake is a full meal. It is the toppings actually that make the difference I think, and most pancake restaurants have 100+ different options on their menu. "Did not know that, only "cakes" from holland I know are "space cakes" but I think this it not what you are willing to eat" Hahahhaha, no I would not recommend those in Thailand. Sanuk! limbo
Dude, Enter the Old Dutch from Soi 25. That's what I did when I went there with my missus. No need to parade through SC.
Dude_Le_Rude
and along the same basic idea... Does anyone know where to buy (fresh) stroop wafles (like 2 small flat cookies with thick syrup in between) or where to have them made fresh? again, aside from Old Dutch on Cowboy if possible. Drogon, have you found someplace that makes / sells good Belgian waffles in Bangkok? thanks! Peace!
