thalenoi Posted June 11, 2005 Report Share Posted June 11, 2005 I remember my mother making pancake dough. She sent me out to buy yeast, I loved the smell of yeast. Then the dough had to rest for an hour or two coverred with a tissue. But the addition of yeast did not make the pancakes spongy like the american ones. In Quebec province Dutch style pancakes are easy to find with lots of toppings as wel and they are not of the spongy type. Is it easy to find yeast in LOS?
