Sois Tonson-Ruamrudee-Lang Suan-Wittayu area of Ploenchit;

Soi Convent area of Silom-Sathorn

Nichida Thani

Cheang Wattana area

No doubt, must be irksome that they still have to breathe in the same filthy air as a slum dweller, no money in BKK can escape them from this :(

Several years ago I often stayed at Jim's Lodge in Soi Ruam Rudi. From my room at the back of the hotel, I viewed very palatial homes in gated compounds.I guess these are in the sub sois of Ruam Rudi. Being able to afford such as an expat (not yet) always crossed my mind.

 

Btw, Jim's Lodge is a very nice budget hotel (B1000++) at that time that was guest friendly with clean and comfortable rooms in the quiet, upscale soi. I reckon so.
