teddy
Gary Glitter comes home to his girlfriend, and she's packing her bags. He says, "What are you doing?" She goes, "I'm leaving you, I've heard you are a paedophile." Glitter retorts, "Oh, that's a big word for a six year old."
Old Hippie
Frankly, I see no humor in child molestation or the topic of Paedophilia.
ALHOLK
Hi! Making jokes is a very old way of dealing with nasty things. Apparently the jews in Hitlers death camps made jokes about their situation. regards ALHOLK
Man at Work
Violence is also very old - but still not right! I am with OH on this all the way! MaW
khunsanuk
Hi, Hmm, I just thought it was a funny joke Sanuk!
The_Munchmaster
I agree. If we analyzed every joke and only laughed at the ones that were not about risque subjects then there wouldn't be many left to laugh at. Just because you enjoy the humour of the joke doesn't mean that you endorse the subject of the joke.
limbo
Although I do agree with KS and the munchmaster, there is a very thin line with many jokes where it stops to be funny. Obviously this line is different to each individual. Most of the times, the more 'wrong' a subject is, the funnier the jokes can be, but the more at risk you are of offending people. Mekong
The only thing I personaly find offensive about this joke is that it must be at least 20 years old and just been rehashed
The_Munchmaster
How can you possibly find a rehashed joke to be offensive?? ::

WHile I do agree with you under normal circumstances, I find certain topics to just be personally offensive (my own issue). Violence/abuse of children is at the top of the list.
