Guest Posted July 16, 2006 Report Share Posted July 16, 2006 Technology has changed alot of things for better or for worse, and that includes everything from : "Girls Gone Wild" to wankers making pseudo documentaries. For example probably more home porn being made now than ever in history given the size of technology, easy editing programs, and no middle man (LABS, etcetera). This is true. When I first started working in the US, they didn't have email, and when I first started working here, email was still new, but now everyone uses it for business. Consider this site and sites like it and how quickly they can disseminate information about what is going in Bangkok. If they started closing the bars at 10 pm, guys in Düsseldorf and Des Moines would know about it by tomorrow morning. It has changed the scene. I strongly suspect that email and cheaper international calls have made it much easier for BGs to maintain sponsorship relationships. I also think that the readily availability of porn here has provided valuable trainning to BGs (they can certainly fake orgasms better.) And sites like this allow visitors and ex-pats to share information on what is happening where and for how much, and this ultimately works to our benefit.
