radioman Posted September 28, 2006 Report Share Posted September 28, 2006 Third runway is parallel to and offset from one of the existing two, East if I recall correctly. Fourth runway will be started when 3 is done. All four will be in the same direction, prevailing winds and operational considerations rather dictate that especially when you have two arrivals and two departures scheduled for the same time.
