Larry Craig on Tuesday the only thing he had done wrong was to plead guilty after a police complaint of lewd conduct in a men's room. He declared, "I am not gay. I never have been gay." ..yeah, and I'm not black. :smirk: Its the hypocracy. No one would care if a politician was gay or not if he was honest and had integrity. It's a sad reflection but main stream political parties rarely tolerate openly gay candidates. The closest we would have in Australia would be Senator Bob Brown the leader of the Greens, and I'm not sure if that would be classed as a mainstream party. Same sex encounters in public bathrooms are to gay sex as oral sex encounters in the oval office are to hetero sex, ie. they are not sex. Any politician will testify to that...
