sayjann
mayonaise and salad cream are different. salad cream has a much sharper taste and much tastier. i find mayonaise bland and tasteless. sandwich spread is tasty...... my Filipino friends are a little weird. they buy/nick sachets of tomato ketchup and mayonaise and mix it up and call it seafood sauce... i tell them to go out and buy a squeezy bottle of proper seafood sauce but they won't have it.... for Limbo. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deviled_egg http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coddled_egg
shygye
You can make mayo as tasty as you like using infused oils.

MooNoi
Very sad the scrambled eggs aren't polling so well. They're the best! Fried eggs too greasy, poached eggs can easily turn out like rubber. (So can scrambled to be honest, but more likely with poached - especially in LOS). Mekong
I once asked a gal how she would like her eggs in the morning "Fertilized or Un-Fertilized" she kneed me in the groin and replied "Scrambled" Was she a scouse lass by any chance? The_Munchmaster
I'll try that next week when I move into my new apartment and unleash the new JO pots and pans. I'm not married though, so I'll have to eat it myself. :smirk:
hooky
Great topic! I absolutely love eggs. This morning for breakfast I had two poached eggs on lovely whole grain toast. Bliss! Never had really good eggs in LOS though, half decent fried eggs being the best. And as for the toast... Can't stand that awful, white, sweet, fluffy square sliced stuff they use for toast! Oh and salad cream rocks too. Hard boil an egg, add a bit of salt, dollop of salad cream and make a sandwich. Magic! H.
