But considering that nothing has changed in your body (i.e., the sperm is still free to shoot along the vas deferens, just into the ball sack and not out the end of your dick) for the type of vasectomy I got anyway, it seems very likely that the pro-extraction folks are right to me. I think you have your plumbing wrong here, as ejaculate is 95+ % from the prostate and the rest from the balls. But after the snip, balls are totally inactive as in no more sperm produced.
