Wallenda
Just wondering -- is there a general antibiotic that works well for the typical mild case of STD? I had this once or twice before, and if I have, then I will bet others here have too. Something that usually works? (I was prescribed one a few years back once, think it might have been tetracylcline but not sure -- fuzzy memory) I always use a condom by the way, but this seems to happen now and then regardless. When I say now and then, that means something like once every year or 2. It makes me worry how secure I am against HIV, for exmaple.

shygye
I think gonnorhea... Go see a doctor immediately. You may have a resistant strain that requires different antibiotics to treat the infection.
liquidflux
A mild STD. Is that kinda like being mildly pregnant lol? Agree with the others, go see a real doctor.
skirtlifter
Had gonorrhea a few years back. First the doc gave me tablets and when that didn't work he injected me with the good stuff. Has to be injected slowly...duration of about three minutes. Did the trick but had to refrain from usual activity for a week in case I passed it on. No dramas...didn't hurt. Don't fuck about with witch doctors or armchair specialists. Dr Skirtlifter
Wallenda
I had gonnorhea once a few years back. These symptoms are the same as then, tho less in severity. When I say mild, they're not as extreme as the worst symptoms I've seen described for gonnorhea (or chlamydia) -- no blood, no pus, no pain -- just irritation, not what I'd call pain. Moderate or mild inflammation might be a good description. When pissing. (btw, ya should think before you type LOL just in case the person you're saying it to has actually thought about what they said more than you have -- I think we all know there's such a thing as degrees in the severity of the symptoms, doesn't require genius to realize that's what I meant -- and if you think about it, there's also big degrees in the severity of the STD's themselves, from something like this up to AIDS, which obviously nobody would ever refer to as a mild STD, and compared to which gonnorhea surely would be -- come to think of it, what at all would the many varieties of STD have in common with pregnancy? And I make it a rule never to do it, but just for you, and only this once: LOL) Just happened 2 days ago, so if the antibiotic recommended for gonnorhea doesn't work quick (cefpdoxime) then I'll get to the doc. Already feeling better (more energy, less irritation) after just a day taking the drug.
