-> PAD did not kill 10 people -> I seem to remember the first ones who tried violence were the police and the UDD....

Over 10 killed at least so far by BOTH SIDES.

First killed WAS a UDD by PAD except PAD claimed is was a PAD member at first for the PR it created. Only later it turned out the peaceful PAD had killed a UDD person.

Some balanced reporting.

An anti-government protester assaults a man at a blockade on a highway leading to Bangkok's old airport

A pro-government gang attacks a court official, whom they believed to be an anti-government protester, at Chiang Mai airport on November 26. In a separate incident in Chiang Mai, 700 km north of Bangkok, another gang of government supporters shot dead an anti-government activist, as the political crisis in the country threatens to explode into civil unrest.

The country is fucked in so many ways, what the fuck are hundreds of teachers, secretaries nurses, civil servants doing joining PAD? To remove democracy and recreate a Burmese style junta headed by the 'influential elite'..... its thai logic gone mad and sadly with no long term solution as PAD may well get there way and hava country goverened by the unelected, but when thats goes tits up as in the way of all dictatorships whats the answer then, there were lots of deaths in 74, 76 and 92...so mane education people with no intelligence!!!!

Actually, the PAD supporters hold up Burma as an example of what would happen in Thailand if the TRT/PPP are allowed to stay in power. Just goes to show how little most people ripping the PAD understand what the supporters are about. Talking about the leadership is easy, but how many of you actually know any PAD supporter and understand what this is about (other then what you read from the BBC)?

I agree mate, but you're better off talking to a pile of bricks. I'm gonna do what you said a few days ago, not bother talking about this subject anymore...

Cheers,
