Emergency Exit Plan

Having watched the tele about the goings on in Bombay - it got me to thinkin about an exit plan from any hotel I stay at.

I don't think I ever viewed the stairs at the Nana nor for that matter any stairs in any hotel I have stayed at except the ones without a lift.

Does anyone ever think of an emergency exit plan from hotel staying at?

This is somehting that crosses my mind, but human nature takes over and we usually relax...maybe a bit too much.

Good subject to bring up in this day and age. Its sad that we need a tragedy in order to adjust our behaviour.

Knowing where the stairs are and where exactly they lead sounds essential. The window fire escape could be a possibility if a system is in place.

They are very impressive, especially given their constraints (weather & traffic). There is a fire station on Suk soi 22 on the right, about 1.5km from Suk, just before soi 16 crosses soi 22. Many more, but that's the one you'd be closest to.

Cheers,

SD
