sayjann
i hate the commercialism of it all. i hate christmas pud, brandy sauce and mince pies. TV is crap, thank god for DVD's etc. but i like the way people decorate their gardens with many lights. around my way 80% are over the top but nice to see when i drive around,a lot of effort is put in. i like the look on people's faces when they receive gifts. i like the appreciation of Hospital patients who have the misfortune to be in Hospital as we try and make it a good Day for them. i prefer being at work over Christmas as i normally get roped into attending other people's dinners and as i'm so anti-social at times. looks like this Year i will be laying in bed as i'm suffering from Pnuemonia. suits me,no food forced upon me and no visitors. a shame i will be feeling like shit............ dean
I like having my family spend their first few months in the U.S. toward the end of the year, being able to see the nice qualities of the holiday season. However, since they are buddists and don't understand the whole santa claus thing, I already gave them their christmas present; Wii with the fit board. Besides X-mas, my son's birthday is on the 5th aand the youngest daughter is on the 20th, so it does make it a festive time for our family. teddy
looks like this Year i will be laying in bed as i'm suffering from Pnuemonia. ............ I've had pnuemonia, not nice, hope you recover swiftly  I love Christmas but I detest new year's eve. I love putting up the tree and decorations and seeing the kids faces when they open their presents. I also love cooking the Christmas dinner but I have royally fucked up this year. I invited all my side of the family for Chrimbo dinner so I will be cooking for 27. Then in a moment of pissed guiltyness, I invited the wifes family for a Christmas dinner on the Sunday before. So, I am now cooking for 24 on the Sunday before as well, Holy shit
