Did you ever read in the scriptures of returning to the original owner property that was formerly owned by the original owner without compensating the new owner? This later became the basis for our bankruptcy laws.

Did you ever read the laws that helped the poor and the widows?

Ah yes but don't forget this was during the 1000 B.C Spiritual Election. God was in a close race against Zeus and Amun Ra. After He won he became more liberal. There's even been talk of a sex-change.

The Bible indicates he is a Socialist. Would you not agree?

So far as I understand it the Bible does not indicate that God is a socialist.

During the recent months you have called Germany and other European states as socialist or leftist regimes' date=' now suddenly you tell us that West Germany is as a capitalist and not a socialist country.[/quote']

West Germany was substantially less socialistic than East Germany in 1989. Germany is substantially more socialistic than America today. Why is it so hard for you to understand that both of these things are true?

Your answer confirms your lack of even basic understanding of political/economic systems. East and West Germany were not more or less socialist, they were *completely* different political _and_ economic systems.

I guess you never traveled to East Europe (East Germany, Czechoslovakia, e.g.) before 1989. Even as tourist you would have seen and experienced the fundamental differences...

That isn't an economic plan. It's a political plan. Supply-side economics is rarely supported by economists...

You post nonsense. Capitalism is economics. And what do you mean by "rarely"? There are plenty of capitalist economists. You can look them up yourself or scroll up to my previous post for a link.

I never said that there were no socialists pretending to be economists. I have merely pointed out the obvious which is that socialism does not create wealth but rather is a political scheme whereby some people live off of the labors of others.

And capitalism is a political scheme whereby some people life off the labours of others too...imbecile!

Capitalism is economics....wow! You've gone the profound route today, what other gems do you have stored away in that lifeless hole you refer to as your head? Money is cash? Rain is water? Republican is fucking stupid?

I would point out that capitalism is one of several types of economic theory/behaviour/systems and arguably a highly flawed one too...but then I'd dilute my previous point. Oppss, too late, I blame my fingers.

I recently saw Laffer on the telly talking about this very topic. And you are correct' date=' he did not advocate cutting taxes as a means to raise tax revenues in these economic times. [/quote']

You lie.

RY, Laffer and others are discussing how tax rises are a terrible move. The whole piece is about the supposed fear of Obama raising taxes. Nowhere does it explicitly state that Laffer and friends advocate tax cuts. They fear that the temporary tax breaks put in place by Bush will be rolled back.

It is the author of the piece who refers to the Canadian governments tax cutting as cool.

Liar' date=' Liar, Pants On Fire....[/quote']

That clip does not say what you imply it does.

Seems pretty clear to me...it also appears Laffer is an idiot without an ounce of integrity. Someone who spouted off a lot of bullshit when times were good, because everyone bought into the bullshit...greed is good! Everyone wanted that little bit more. His was the clarion call. He's essentially famous for stating what everyone wanted to hear. He described an event and tried to make it his own. I love the bit where he is quoted, minimising the collapse, prior to the event. How wrong was he? A freaking genius....

RY only deals in absolutes and incorrect absolutes at that. It's becoming abundantly clear he has no real understanding of political ideology.

rogie' date=' if you could answer my questions, you might start to realize [color:red']the world is not black/white, right/wrong, hate/love, Socialist/Capitalist as you claim. [/color]

You claim to be a Christian but your beliefs do not resonate with the religion's founder. Jesus did say that a person(s) was coming who believed exactly the opposite as he does. Does that ring a bell?
