khunsanuk Posted February 1, 2009 Report Share Posted February 1, 2009 Hi, Due to the spamming occurring recently I have been forced to make some changes to the permissions of normal users. I have removed the privilege of sending PTs for all normal Users. I have also introduced a new group called 'Full Users' which *does* have PT privilege. In order to gain access to that group you need to have at least 10 posts; upon your 10th post, you will automatically be moved into this group. So, for most regular users there will be no change, but I'm afraid that lurkers can no longer send PTs. My apologies for that, but I have to think about the bigger picture and someone spamming the board members is something I cannot afford. One thing to note is that the group advancement doesn't take effect until you next post. In the meantime I don't think you can use PTs. There are only 3 posters who have moved into the 'Full Users' group at this point. All of them have exactly 10 posts. Looks like I'm gonna have to ask more questions on the dev board. Sanuk!
