There is more to the equation, as if one is retired, the monthly income may be less then if one is working. If retired, your expenses might be less but then again they could be more (golf, travel, etc).

 

I guess not a black/white answer as to what one needs to live in LOS under any situation. :dunno:

I think it is only fair to kep the top are 200K.... As to the USd equate.... I agree,but remember that are a number of people who still have to do visa runs to keep current because they don't qualify???? How and where do you live?.... I have no Idea how they live on such meager incomes but I bet the football pool guy on Soi Nana, the sandwich guy in Patong and the occasioonal farang beggar at Temple have less that we can believe.... shite, cleaning of my Rolex Submariner is more than an Issan farm worker makes in a year... Not to mention the Burmese rice workers during harvest!
